Hengye supplies custom HSS irregular shape blades for industrial slitting and cut-off applications requiring non-standard knife profiles. Blade outlines, thicknesses, mounting holes and working edges can be specified according to the machine drawing.
These blades are intended for replacing shaped machine knives and developing cutting tools for dedicated production equipment.
Matching the overall length and width is only part of selecting an irregular blade. Mounting holes, slots, reference surfaces and cutting edge positions also determine whether the knife fits the holder and follows the correct cutting path.
An incorrect profile can interfere with installation or change the relationship between the blade and the material being cut. A dimensioned drawing helps define these features before manufacture, especially when an existing sample has worn edges.
The HSS grade, heat treatment and edge geometry should be selected together with the cutting material and operating conditions. Different cutting motions and material thicknesses may require different bevels and edge support.
Custom specifications allow the blade profile and working edges to be considered as one complete tool.

Yes. Customized profiles and thicknesses are available for review against a dimensioned drawing.
Is the HSS material designation enough to order a replacement?
No. The steel grade, dimensions, mounting features, heat treatment and edge geometry also need to be agreed.
