Hengye manufactures custom serrated long blades for packaging material cutting, paper converting and plastic film processing. Blade dimensions, tooth profiles and material grades can be specified according to the cutting assembly and application requirements.
The listed configuration measures 150 × 12 × 2 mm (length × width × thickness). Custom manufacturing is available within length ranges of 50–2000 mm, thicknesses of 0.5–10 mm and tooth pitches of 2–20 mm, subject to review of the complete blade specification.
Packaging films and paper respond differently during cutting. Film may stretch or remain partially connected, while paper may develop torn edges or uncut fibers. These problems can result from worn teeth, unsuitable edge geometry or incorrect material support.
The serrated edge initiates cutting at individual tooth tips. Tooth pitch, height and bevel should be selected together with the material thickness and machine cutting motion. Blade alignment, web tension and cutting clearance should also be checked when reviewing inconsistent results.

The listed size and customization ranges describe different ordering options. They should not be combined into an assumed standard configuration. Material grades and surface treatments are alternatives to be selected for the application.
Specify the paper grade, thickness, coating and number of layers. Include the required edge condition and details of tearing or incomplete separation observed with the existing blade.
Provide the polymer type, film thickness and whether the material is laminated, coated or adhesive-backed. Describe how the film is supported and tensioned during the cutting stroke.
For nonwoven fabrics and textiles, identify the fiber structure, thickness and number of layers. Review the tooth profile against snagging, fiber pullout and incomplete cutting.
Use in each application depends on the machine design and the approved blade configuration.
Provide the existing blade grade where known, together with information about wear, chipping, corrosion exposure and material buildup. These details help guide the review of steel grade, edge geometry and surface treatment.
A coating should address a defined operating requirement. It does not replace correct blade alignment, suitable tooth geometry or appropriate material support.
Overall length, width and thickness.
Tooth pitch, height, profile and bevel orientation.
Mounting-hole positions, slots and reference surfaces.
Required tolerances and any straightness requirements.
Material being cut and machine model.
Preferred blade grade, surface treatment and quantity.
For replacement orders, include the current blade drawing and photographs of any wear or cutting defects.
No. It is the configuration currently listed. Other dimensions can be reviewed within the stated customization ranges or against a specific drawing.
The listed range is 2–20 mm. Selection depends on the material, thickness, cutting motion and required edge result. Include the existing tooth geometry where available.
Possibly, but suitability must be reviewed for the specific substrates and machine. One configuration should not be assumed to suit every material.
It may resolve problems caused by a worn edge. Material tension, blade alignment, support and clearance also affect the result.
Drawing-based customization is available for dimensions, tooth geometry, material and processing requirements. Confirm the final specification before production.
Send your blade drawing, material details and required quantity to Hengye for specification review and quotation.
