Hengye supplies custom serrated cutting blades for compatible cutting stations on corrugated carton production lines. The listed length range is 100–500 mm, with customizable tooth pitches of 2–8 mm.
Blade dimensions, tooth profiles and material grades can be specified according to technical drawings and equipment requirements. Each configuration should be matched to the board construction, cutting motion and mounting arrangement.
Torn liners, uncut fibers and uneven separation can result from worn teeth, unsuitable edge geometry or incorrect machine settings. Board thickness, flute structure and material support also influence the cutting result.
Before selecting a replacement, inspect the blade and cutting assembly together. Confirm the tooth profile, edge position and working clearance rather than choosing solely by blade length.
The tooth tips initiate contact at individual points along the cutting edge. Tooth spacing, height and bevel determine how the edge engages the board during the cutting stroke.
A suitable configuration depends on the board being processed and the machine design. Provide the flute type, number of walls and total board thickness when requesting a blade. If the existing knife causes tearing or crushing near the cut, include photographs of the finished edge for review.

Material and surface options are alternatives. Final blade dimensions, heat treatment and edge geometry should be recorded in the approved specification.
Specify the flute profile, single-wall or multi-wall construction, total thickness and liner materials. Identify the required finished-edge condition and any variation between board grades.
Provide the machine manufacturer, model and cutting-station details. Confirm whether the blade works against an anvil, another knife or a different support arrangement.
Compare the blade outline, mounting pattern and cutting-edge position with the original drawing. Record uneven wear, chipped teeth or localized cutting problems to help identify whether the blade specification or machine setup needs attention.
Confirm installation dimensions. Include length, width, thickness, mounting holes, slots and reference surfaces.
Define the tooth geometry. Specify pitch, tooth height, profile and bevel orientation. Pitch alone does not fully describe the edge.
Review the material. Provide the existing steel grade and describe wear, impact or corrosion exposure. Select the grade and heat treatment together.
Describe production conditions. Include board specifications, operating frequency, cutting motion and any current quality problems.
No. Compatibility depends on the cutting station, mounting arrangement, dimensions and edge geometry. A machine model and blade drawing are recommended.
The listed range is 2–8 mm. Selection should account for board construction, cutting motion and the required edge result. Include the existing profile where available.
No blade specification alone can guarantee this. Board condition, support, alignment and clearance also affect the result and should be checked.
Special tooth profiles and dimensions can be reviewed against your drawing and application requirements.
Send a dimensioned drawing, board specifications, machine details, required material and quantity. Include any tolerance or inspection requirements.
Contact Hengye with your blade drawing and corrugated board details for specification review and quotation.
