Hengye manufactures long serrated industrial blades with customizable dimensions and tooth geometry. This range features a triangular tooth profile, with lengths of 50–3000 mm, tooth pitches of 3–20 mm and thicknesses of 1–20 mm.
Blades can be specified for packaging film, paper converting and other compatible cutting equipment. The final dimensions, material and mounting arrangement should be confirmed against the machine drawing and cutting application.
Incomplete separation, torn edges and material dragging can result from worn teeth or a mismatch between the blade geometry and the substrate. Uneven blade support, incorrect alignment or unsuitable material tension can produce similar symptoms.
Triangular teeth initiate cutting at individual points along the edge. Tooth pitch, height and bevel should therefore be selected together, taking account of material thickness, cutting motion and the required finished edge.
For long blades, the mounting arrangement and specified straightness are also important. Include these requirements on the drawing rather than relying on overall length alone.

These ranges describe available customization options. They do not mean that every combination of length, thickness, material and tooth geometry is suitable for every application.
Define the cutting conditions before selecting a grade. Include abrasion, impact, moisture exposure and any cleaning process, together with the existing blade specification where available.
Surface treatments should be selected for a specific purpose and checked for compatibility with the blade material. A coating does not compensate for unsuitable tooth geometry or incorrect machine alignment.
Provide the film type, thickness, layer structure and details of any adhesive. Confirm whether the blade performs transverse separation, trimming or another cutting action.
Specify the paper grade, coating and thickness, along with the cutting arrangement. Include the required edge condition and any problems observed with the current knife.
Describe the fiber structure, material thickness and number of layers. Tooth geometry and material support should be reviewed where snagging or incomplete fiber separation occurs.
Provide the material type and section being cut. These applications require their own edge and material review rather than assuming that a packaging-film configuration will also be suitable.
Overall length, width and thickness.
Tooth pitch, height, profile and bevel orientation.
Mounting holes, slots and reference surfaces.
Required straightness, flatness and dimensional tolerances.
Material being cut and machine operating conditions.
Preferred steel grade, surface treatment and quantity.
For replacement orders, include the existing drawing or sample details and photographs showing wear, chipping or material buildup.
No. Other profiles can be reviewed against your drawing and cutting requirements. Include the complete geometry rather than tooth pitch alone.
The listed range is available for customization review. The final length must be considered together with thickness, material, mounting support and manufacturing requirements.
Not necessarily. Blade performance depends on the balance between wear resistance, toughness, edge geometry and operating conditions. The hardness target should be agreed for the selected material.
Cut quality depends on the substrate, blade condition and machine setup. Define the required cut result and evaluate the proposed specification under the intended operating conditions.
Send your blade drawing, material details and required quantity to Hengye for specification review and quotation.
